Office Administrator

Wardensville, WV

We are seeking a full-time (40-hour/week) Office Administrator with executive administrative and process management experience to support our youth-centered mission at Farms Work Wonders. The incumbent will support the administrative needs of the Mission Department, Liaison Managers, and our Living Classrooms.

Report to & work closely with the Director of Mission.


  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office to ensure the office is operating smoothly.
  • Provide planning, organizing, and administrative training to departmental staff.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and purchases.
  • Serve as point-of-contact for visitors, youth, and community; respond to general inquiries.
  • Maintain database and record-keeping management. 
  • Develop office procedures to promote consistent and effective processes.
  • Create weekly schedules and process payroll reports for approval.
  • Liaison between Mission department and Human Resources.
  • Manage the Junior Crew hiring and orientation process.
  • Liaison between Mission department and IT support.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and design & implement new systems.
  • Assist director in monitoring select budgets and performing weekly budget reconciliations.
  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, conducting research, and creating reports.
  • Develop and nurture vibrant, trusting, and supportive relationships with staff and youth that strengthen and sustain personal and professional growth.


  • Two+ years of demonstrated experience closely matching the above responsibilities. 
  • Experience working with youth (ages 14-18 years old) is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with IOS platforms.
  • Experience with Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs.
  • Ability to work during peak hours when youth participants are in attendance.
  • Must be 18 years or old and have a valid drivers licenses.
